WHO THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ONE THEN...
Every now and again, a piece of legislation descends on us and causes worry and misery.
Normally, such legislation arrives from Brussels so it comes as no surprise to find that this new law is in the form of a European Directive.
The Certificate of Professional Competence - C.P.C. for short, requires the driver of every goods vehicle which exceeds 3.5 tonnes G.V.W. to undertake 35 hours of training every five years. For those not so good at sums, that equates to a training day every year.
The full details of our course is shown by clicking on the link below, but before you get that far let us just explain very briefly what it is all about.
You will be trained in the correct use of tachographs, digital and analogue, and how to download and analyse them.
You will carry out manual handling, and loading and unloading.
You will receive instruction in the use of different gearboxes and engine brakes.
You will learn how to act at road accidents, and in fact, you will learn so much your head will burst.
To relieve your headache, bash your button and find out more.
Either that or emigrate.
